My students Samed, Metin and Arda won the first prize with their project ‘Connect to Life’ in the Technological Solutions for Disaster Hackathon organised by Habitat Association and Vodafone Turkey Foundation at Facebook Station in Istanbul. The students managed to transfer critical data to the officials even if there is no internet after a disaster through an NFC supported smart wristband. I congratulate my students and wish them continued success.
Öğrencilerim Samed, Metin ve Arda İstanbul’da Facebook İstasyon’da Habitat Derneği ve Türkiye Vodafone Vakfı tarafından düzenlenen Afet için Teknolojik Çözümler Hackathonunda Hayata Bağlan projeleriyle birincilik ödülünü kazandı. Öğrencilerin NFC destekli bir akıllı bileklik yoluyla afet sonrasında internet olmasa bile kritik verileri görevlilere aktarmayı başardılar. Öğrencilerimi tebrik eder, başarılarının devamını dilerim.
