Global Teacher Prize — 13 January 2026
I was delighted to be featured by the Global Teacher Prize after my Code for Climate Action project won first place in the Green Curriculum category at TeachersCOP 2025. My project was selected from 327 submissions representing 83 countries. This international recognition was an important milestone in my work combining technology, education and climate action.

Habertürk covered my participation as a speaker at BBC micro:bit Live 2019 in Manchester. In the event, I presented my internationally recognised “More Coding More Girls” project. The article focused on my efforts to increase girls’ participation in coding and information technologies and to provide them with greater opportunities in technology-related careers.
