As one of the winners of the competition organised by Intel and STEM Alliance with my “3D Repair” application, I was invited to the 40th Science Projects Workshop and award ceremony at the Future Classroom Laboratory in Brussels. I would like to thank my students for their support during the process.
About competition
The Competition called for educators in primary and secondary schools in Europe to explore the lesson plans from Intel’s Skills for Innovation Starter pack and carry out the lessons with their students. The goal of the competition was to challenge the educators to create and share their stories of implementation, which would demonstrate actual use of Intel’s pre-designed learning experiences in the classroom.
The Intel® Skills for Innovation (Intel® SFI) Starter Pack (hereafter “the Starter Pack”) represents a set of ready-to-use, technology-infused learning experiences which can help educators to prepare students for the future jobs using technology. Each Starter Pack activity consists of a comprehensive educator’s guide, a teaching deck and a folder containing various resources that are required to carry out the activity. This library currently counts 70 activities, mapped to several global curriculum standards, segmented into different subjects: STEM, language, and humanities.

Intel ve STEM Alliance tarafından düzenlenen yarışmada “3D Repair” isimli uygulamamla yarışmanın kazananlarından biri olarak Brüksel’de düzenlenecek Geleceğin Sınıfı Laboratuvarında 40. Bilim Projeleri Atölyesine ve ödül törenine davet edildim. Süreçteki desteklerinden dolayı öğrencilerime teşekkür ederim.
Yarışma hakkında
Yarışma, Avrupa’daki ilk ve orta dereceli okullardaki eğitimcileri Intel’in Skills for Innovation Başlangıç paketindeki ders planlarını keşfetmeye ve öğrencileriyle birlikte dersleri uygulamaya çağırdı. Yarışmanın amacı, eğitimcileri Intel’in önceden tasarlanmış öğrenme deneyimlerinin sınıfta gerçek kullanımını gösterecek uygulama öykülerini oluşturmaya ve paylaşmaya davet etmekti.
Intel® Skills for Innovation (Intel® SFI) Başlangıç Paketi (bundan sonra “Başlangıç Paketi” olarak anılacaktır), eğitimcilerin öğrencileri teknolojiyi kullanarak geleceğin mesleklerine hazırlamalarına yardımcı olabilecek, kullanıma hazır, teknolojiyle iç içe geçmiş bir dizi öğrenme deneyimini temsil etmektedir. Her bir Başlangıç Paketi aktivitesi, kapsamlı bir eğitimci rehberi, bir öğretim destesi ve aktiviteyi gerçekleştirmek için gerekli olan çeşitli kaynakları içeren bir klasörden oluşmaktadır. Bu kütüphanede şu anda farklı konulara ayrılmış çeşitli küresel müfredat standartlarıyla eşleştirilmiş 70 etkinlik bulunmaktadır: STEM, dil ve beşeri bilimler.
