On 7 September 2025, just before the start of the new school year, I organized a Back to School event for teachers in Ankara together with Mona Altundemir. The half-day workshop brought together 27 teachers, creating an inspiring and motivating start to the new academic year.
In the first part of the event, Mona Altündemir delivered the “AI in the Classroom” workshop, focusing on practical classroom applications of artificial intelligence and how teachers can integrate AI into their lessons in an effective and responsible way.
In the second part, I introduced the Intel Skills for Innovation platform, sharing how it supports project-based learning, innovative lesson design, and the development of 21st-century skills.
At the end of the workshop, we held a certificate ceremony, followed by cutting our Back to School cake—a joyful moment to recharge our energy and boost our motivation for the new school year.

I truly believe that such collaborations play a key role in empowering teachers and fostering innovative practices in classrooms across Europe.
7 Eylül 2025 tarihinde, okullar açılmadan hemen önce Ankara’da, Mona Altundemir ile birlikte öğretmenlere yönelik bir Back to School etkinliği düzenledik. Yarım gün süren bu atölye çalışmasına 27 öğretmen katıldı ve yeni eğitim öğretim yılına güçlü bir başlangıç yaptık.
Etkinliğin ilk bölümünde Mona Altündemir, öğretmenlere yönelik “AI in the Classroom” atölyesini gerçekleştirdi. Bu bölümde yapay zekânın sınıf içi uygulamaları, öğretmenlerin ders tasarımlarında AI’ı nasıl etkili ve sorumlu biçimde kullanabilecekleri ele alındı.
İkinci bölümde ise ben, Intel Skills for Innovation platformunu tanıtarak; platformun ders planlama, proje tabanlı öğrenme ve 21. yüzyıl becerilerinin geliştirilmesinde sunduğu imkânları paylaştım.
Etkinliğin sonunda bir sertifika töreni gerçekleştirdik. Ardından okula dönüş temalı “Back to School” pastamızı keserek, yeni döneme motivasyonla başlamak için birlikte enerji depoladık.
Bu anlamlı atölyenin hayata geçmesini sağlayan destekleri için Science on Stage Europe’a gönülden teşekkür ediyorum. Etkinlik, Science on Stage Europe – Coding for Our Futures programı kapsamında hibelendirilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimini ve sınıflarda yenilikçi uygulamaları destekleyen bu tür iş birliklerinin çok kıymetli olduğuna inanıyorum.
