Winner of JCI TOYP!

Another dream of mine came true today. In 2022, I was selected as the first in Turkey in the category of Environmental Protection and Moral Leadership by JCI Turkey. In 2023, I was selected first in the top 30 and then in the top 20 in the global competition and participated in the public vote. I am happy to announce that I was selected as the world winner in my category in this prestigious competition…

After much deliberation from an international panel of judges and open international voting, Dr. Selçuk Yusuf Arslan was chosen as one of the JCI (Junior Chamber International) Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) as a reflection of their individual excellence but also an inspiration to young people around the world who look to their accomplishments with admiration and respect.

The evaluation process was both rigorous and thorough, with a panel of esteemed judges carefully assessing each nominee. The collective expertise of the TOYP judges, including Harriet Boland from The Economist Educational Foundation, Claudia Deniers from Siemens Energy, Julia Zietemann from the International Trade Centre, and 2023 JCI World President Viktor Ómarsson, underscores the significance of their achievement.

From a pool of 20 highly qualified front-runners, these ten remarkable leaders have risen to the top, showcasing their exceptional contributions across various fields. Their dedication, innovation, and commitment to making a positive impact have truly set them apart and made them worthy of this esteemed recognition.

Dr. Selçuk Yusuf Arslan will be officially honored November 18, 2023 during the 2023 JCI World Congress held in Zürich, Switzerland.
